This has been a long hot dry summer in San Antonio. However, a friend and I would like to try a fall/winter vegetable garden. She would also like to try an herb garden. What vegetables would be good and when is a good time to start planting. We are going to do a raised bed garden to ease the work. I am also planning on doing companion gardening.
